Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Phonify Ltd (“Phonify”, “we”) collects when you use our website and services, why we use it and the rights you have. We are the controller of your personal data.

What we collect

Details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, order history, messages to our support team, and details of devices you sell to us. Details collected automatically: device and browser information, pages viewed and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

To process orders, deliveries, returns, warranty claims and trade-ins (contract). To prevent fraud and keep our services secure (legitimate interests). To meet tax, accounting and consumer-law obligations (legal obligation). To send marketing emails, only if you’ve opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time (consent).

Who we share it with

Payment providers (including Stripe, PayPal and Klarna), delivery partners, and service providers that host our website, send emails and help us fix errors. They may only use your data to provide their service to us. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for six years to meet legal requirements. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Data on devices you sell to us

We wipe every device we receive to NCSC guidance and keep a record of the erasure. Please back up and remove your accounts before sending a device.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email help@phonify.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
