Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you buy a device from Phonify Ltd (“Phonify”, “we”) or sell one to us. Please read them before ordering. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Our devices

Our devices are refurbished. Each one is tested on 40 points and graded for cosmetic condition. Grades describe looks only; every device works like new. Photos on a listing show the exact unit you’ll receive.

Ordering and prices

Your order is accepted when we email to confirm it has been dispatched. Prices include VAT. If a price is shown wrongly, we’ll contact you before dispatching and you can cancel.

Delivery

We aim to deliver within the time shown at checkout. Ownership and risk pass to you on delivery.

Changing your mind

You have 30 days from delivery to return a device for any reason. This includes your legal right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. See our Returns page for how to return a device.

Warranty and faulty devices

Every device comes with an 18-month Phonify warranty against faults not caused by accidental or liquid damage. This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Selling to us

Trade-in quotes are based on the condition you describe. If the device doesn’t match, we’ll offer a revised price, which you can accept or decline; if you decline, we return the device free. You must own the device and it must not be reported lost, stolen or under finance.

Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We don’t exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, depending on where you live.
